The future of the highly troubled project, Beyond Good & Evil 2, is yet to be determined. However, thanks to an age rating registered back in August, it's clear that fans can anticipate something related to Beyond Good & Evil soon. This optimism is linked to the 20th Anniversary Edition of the game getting rated.

No further updates have been reported since then, until recently, when the game landed on a store page at Xbox.com. Moreover, all its Achievements can now be located on Exophase.com. Given these developments and considering that the game marked its 20th anniversary a fortnight ago, it's probable that its launch is imminent.
