Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos recently met Union information and broadcasting minister Anurag Singh Thakur in the national capital to discuss the expanding creative economy of India. 

The two discussed the increasing popularity of India's regional content globally and how it is being dubbed in dozens of languages. Sarandos is one of the founding members of Netflix, having worked for over 23 years for the organization.

Sarandos praised the amount of content being produced in India and how it is resonating with viewers globally. He also discussed the importance of local filmmakers and producers in driving the industry forward.
